This is a beautiful and authentic hand stencil dyed print by the renowned Japanese designer, Keisuke Serisawa (1895-1984). Known as a master of the katazome (stencil dyeing) technique, Serisawa was a central figure in the Mingei (folk art) movement.

The artwork features a collection of traditional Japanese motifs, including a fan, various floral and botanical designs, and a family crest (mon). The colors are rich and vibrant, and the details of the stencil work are exquisite.

The back of the frame has a label that reads: "HAND STENCIL DYED PRINT BY KEISUKE SERISAWA FOREMOST JAPANESE DESIGNER 'FOLK ART'". This confirms the artist and the technique.
