Offering a handmade, hand woven large cylindrical shaped bag. Hand sewed leather straps, and most likely hand dyed fibers, like Indian Hemp, Bear Grass, and Dog Bane. Hand woven to create a Sally Bag. Sally Bag name theory, is that it evolved from the term
'Sally forth' to describe a Bag used when going on a journey. This bag measures approximately
18W X 12H when flat. The leather strap measures 13 to the top from the bag; ie 26 each strap total inches. Picture 4, 10 & 11, showwhat I added. A closure leather strap. Also not origional are the handmade buffalo coin buttons. These can easily removed without damage. I've owned this bag longer than I can remember, 1970's. At one time hot glued items to accent my bag. There remains some residue of the hot glue used, see picture #8 in the darker striped area on the left hand side. Bag wears and displays well.
