Overview: Up for sale is this really tremendous impressionist oil painting on board. This piece depicts a small cove/harbor with a sailboat laying on the shore. There are some buildings in the background along the coast and four ships (including a steamer) at sea. It is signed "E.L. Hoffman" at lower right. The painting is undated, but I would estimate 1930's or so. A really well-executed and beautiful little antique piece. It is framed in a simple wood frame.

Condition: The painting shows some minor wear/toning. Frame appears to be in excellent condition.

Measurements: Painting measures approximately 14.5 inches wide x 6.625 inches high. Frame measures approximately 15.625 inches wide x 7.875 inches high.
