Beautiful hand-painted natural gourd featuring an all-over black and cream floral folk art design. The gourd has a classic double-bulb form with a narrow neck and detailed geometric and floral motifs painted on all sides, including the top and base. one small chip on one side. Not very noticable.
This is a real dried gourd (not ceramic), hand decorated by an artisan. The painting has a slightly raised texture consistent with hand-applied paint. No artist signature or maker mark is visible.
