After the Taisei Hokan (Great Restoration), the Satsuma clan, hoping for a military showdown with the Edo shogunate, provoked the shogunate by gathering ronin (masterless samurai) in Edo and forming an armed group called "Goyotō" (official thieves), who attacked Edo merchants night after night under the guise of "providing funds for the expulsion of foreigners."
Around that time, a "selection test" was held, gathering farmers from villages near Edo, and strong men famous for their strength from each village gathered.

Jiro Matsumoto
Born in Tokyo in 1970. In 1994, his submission "little feat" won the runner-up prize in the Kodansha Chiba Tetsuya Award. In the same year, it was published in Morning (Kodansha), marking his debut. The following year, he serialized "Wendy" in the same magazine. Based on the play Peter Pan, it depicted a Neverland filled with crime and violence. After that, he mainly worked for Ohta Publishing, but in 2001, he began serializing "Freesia" in Monthly IKKI (Shogakukan). It became a hit, depicting an executioner living in a world where revenge was legal. It was also made into a movie in 2007.

【Condition】
There is some yellowing due to aging, but there are few scratches and scuffs on the covers, and it is generally in good condition.
