Antique Copper and brass Hot Water Bottle

Beautiful oval-shaped antique copper hot water bottle with brass screw cap and handle. It has a nice antique patina, but can be polished/cleaned with some hot water, vinegar and salt. Stamped "Reinkupfer Spezial" (pure copper special). Origin: Germany, early 20th century (circa 1900s–1930s). Material: Solid copper with brass details. Size: ca. 30 cm x 20 cm (approx.) Use: Traditionally filled with hot water to warm the bed before rubber bottles became common. Today it makes a charming collector’s piece, vintage home décor, or could even still be used with proper care (wrap in cloth before use, copper gets really hot). I recommend not filling more than half of it, keep in mind that it’s more than 100 years old! Condition: Good antique condition with authentic patina, light surface marks and dents consistent with age. No major damage, screw cap closes well.
