This a bell-shaped model of gasoline blow torch with distinctive red wooden handle by Clayton & Lambert Co. The company advertised in 1928 that their red handle signified to customers that “you were getting the best value you can buy in a blow-torch.” This model is from the mid to late 1920s. Clayton and Lambert Co. was one of the three dominant blow-torch manufacturers in the industry from the early 20th century until the 1960s.
