DESCRIPTION: Rare 1902 Antique, Prov Saxe E.S. (See Backstamp) the E.S. is for Erdmann Schlegelmilch who's factory was in Suhl, Germany from 1861 to 1937. They made delicate fine porcelain pieces that were hand painted especially with roses. This stunning vase has double arching handles embellished with metallic gold paint. The opening of the vase is crimped and also metallic gold. On the from of the vase is gorgeous yellow and pink wild roses in a sea of soft foliage. The back has a smaller cluster of wild roses in the same color palette. The backstamp is in blue imprinted on the bottom of the vase. It is perfect for a Romantic or Cottage Core Decor!
